Test Kit Contents
Start by identifying these elements of your test kit
- Test kit box
- Cotton-tipped applicator swab
- Transport vial
- Bio-hazard zip-lock bag
- Shipping return bubble mailer
Let’s Get Started:
- Do not eat, drink, brush your teeth, use mouthwash, oils, oral analgesics, adhesives, tobacco, or nicotine for at least 30 minutes before collection. Rinsing your mouth with water before sampling is okay.
- Tap the vial gently 2-3 times. Unscrew the white cap and stand the vial upright.
- Rub the swab firmly along the inside of both cheeks 15-20 times.
- Insert the swab into the vial using a corkscrew motion until fully submerged.
- Move the swab up and down rapidly 10-15 times while keeping it in the liquid.
- Remove the swab with a corkscrew motion and discard it.
- Replace the cap tightly, place the vial in the biohazard bag, then into the prepaid mailer and seal.
- Drop the package at your local USPS office. Write down and save the tracking number.
Important: Do not discontinue medications or supplements without first consulting your healthcare practitioner.
