The Dust Test

The Dust Test is an environmental screening tool designed to help clinicians identify potential mold exposure in their patients’ homes. Using PCR technology, the test analyzes household dust for 36 mold species commonly associated with water-damaged buildings. The results provide practitioners and patients with objective environmental data that can be correlated with clinical findings, helping determine whether the home may be contributing to ongoing health issues. When elevated levels are identified, the results can guide next steps, including targeted home inspections to locate and address the sources of contamination.
