Speaker Bios

Jennifer Nevels, ND
Dr. Jennifer Nevels is a licensed naturopathic medical doctor in the state of Arizona. She is a general family practitioner and is considered an expert in women’s health.
Dr. Nevels received her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (Currently Sonoran University) in 2003 after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Arizona. After obtaining her doctorate she completed a year residency specializing in women’s medicine. She became a faculty member at SCNM and acted as the Interim Chair of the Women’s Department where she was involved in teaching gynecology, supervising medical students at the medical center, and research topics like Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy and Herbal Formulations for Menopausal symptoms. She is the co-founder of East Valley Naturopathic Doctors and the Brain Regeneration Clinic in Mesa, Arizona where she currently practices. 

Michelle Maddux, ND
Senior Manager Clinical Development at MosaicDX
Dr Michelle Maddux received her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Sonoran University of Health Sciences (formerly SCNM) and her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. She has completed additional training in integrative and functional medicine, laboratory medicine, eating disorders, meditation, yoga, and mindfulness. Her clinical practice focuses on teaching highly functioning women to take care of themselves no matter how messy life gets. Dr Maddux has been an educator in the Functional and Integrative laboratory space for over a decade and is happy to continue learning and sharing knowledge as part of the Mosaic Diagnostics team.

Katrina Stage, ND
Dr. Stage is a Naturopathic Physician, Registered Herbalist, and Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Gastroenterology. She practices family medicine and teaches at Sonoran University of Health Sciences (formerly SCNM). 
Dr. Stage graduated with high honors from the Sonoran University of Health Sciences and then completed a residency at Sonoran University Medical Center. In addition to her busy teaching schedule, she serves as Director of the Therapeutics Division and interim Chair of the Physical Medicine department. She is also a member of the Ric Scalzo Botanical Research Institute. 
Dr. Stage frequently lectures on naturopathic and botanical medicine. She also teaches students Mayan healing techniques. Prior to medical school, Dr. Stage graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in both anthropology and philosophy. She also spent two years teaching English in Japan. She is a member of the Gastroenterology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (GastroANP), the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP), the Psychiatry Association of Naturopathic Physicians (PsychANP), the Gastroenterology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (Gastro ANP), the American Herbalists Guild (AHG), the American Botanical Council (ABC), and the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association (AzNMA).

Kurt Woeller, DO
Founder of Integrative Medicine Academy
Kurt N. Woeller, DO has been an integrative medicine physician and biomedical Autism specialist for over 20+ years.
